Computing Systems

The cultural area of the curriculum Computing Systems encompasses problems related to theory, design and implementation of general and special processing systems, as far as both hardware and software aspects are concerned.
Most of these subjects are covered by the Ph.D. Committee members' expertises. Teaching courses are planned in the form of seminars by professors from other universities and research institutions.
Moreover, students are expected to attend the Ph.D. Summer School yearly organized by the Italian Group of Information Engineering.

Among the research arguments offered to the students there are:

Information retrieval techniques in Internet
