The Department of Information Engineering and Mathematics (DIISM) welcomes the PhD students of the “Information Engineering and Science” program and of the joint PhD programs with the Universities of Firenze and Pisa, within the Pegaso framework (Smart Industry, Smart Computing, Computer Science).

Here is a summary of the services offered by DIISM to PhD students.

Badge
The badge is required to access the research laboratories. It is issued by the Administrative Staff (Segreteria Amministrativa, rooms 128-131).
For PhD students enrolled in Pegaso programs, the badge is issued upon request from the Supervisor (a DIISM faculty member) of the PhD student. The Supervisor has to fill this PhD Badge Request Form and send it to phdstart@diism.unisi.it

Account
All PhD students are given an account within the DIISM network. The account includes the access to the website Reserved Area, which allows one to use several services of the department (missions, orders, FAQs, etc.).
To activate the account, PhD students must contact the DIISM Technical Staff (room 214).
